Frequently asked questions about Lina's holiday apartments

  • Minimum booking duration

    - Our holiday apartments can be booked for a minimum of 3 days.


    - During peak holiday periods (e.g., summer and autumn), we prefer bookings of at least 7 days. During these periods, arrival and departure days are usually Saturdays.


    Please note:

    If no holiday apartment is displayed for your desired period, this may be because the booking duration or arrival date does not match our specifications.

  • What happens after a booking?

    • After booking, you will receive a booking reservation from us requesting a deposit of €50.00.
    • This can also be paid via PayPal or credit card at the time of booking.
    • Please transfer the deposit within the next 10 days.
    • After receipt of payment, you will receive a binding booking confirmation.
    • Seven days before your trip, you will receive an email with all important arrival information, such as online check-in and the code for the key box.
    • The remaining balance, plus tourist tax and any additional charges, is payable in cash at the end of your trip.
    • Unfortunately, credit card payments are not possible.
  • What are the arrival and departure times?

    • Arrival from 3:00 PM
    • Departure by 10:00 AM
  • Are towels provided?

    Yes, we provide each guest with a small and a large towel.

    Towels are changed weekly for longer stays.

  • Is bed linen provided?

    No, many guests bring their own bed linen. However, you can still book a bed linen package with us in advance, and then the beds will be made up with fresh linen for a small fee of €9.50 per guest.

    Pillows and duvets are of course provided.


  • How do we get the keys to the holiday apartment?

    Each apartment has its own key box outside the front door. You will receive the code in your arrival email seven days before your trip.

  • How much is the tourist tax?

    The tourist tax is calculated after online check-in:


    Adult: €3.30

    Children (6-17 years): €1.65

    Children under 6 years of age are free


    No tourist tax is paid for the second child and beyond.

    In case of a disability: please tell us the degree of disability, then there will be discounts.


    The tourist tax will be paid to us in cash at the end of your holiday.


  • How are the spa cards issued?

    The arrival email you receive 7 days before your trip contains a link to our online check-in. There, you can conveniently register all guests with the required information before your arrival. We will then print the visitor's cards according to your details and place them in the holiday apartment.

  • How does the sauna work?

    Our sauna is located in the basement. There is a reservation board where you can sign up with the date and time.

    The sauna will then be reserved exclusively for you. A sauna towel will be provided, and bathrobes and slippers are available for a small fee.

    We charge €10.00 per sauna session. A shower and toilet are also available.

    Detailed instructions on how to turn on the oven can be found in the sauna.

    The warm-up time is approximately 20-35 minutes.

     

  • How can I reserve the loggia?

    We've posted a sign-up sheet where you can register with the name of your holiday apartment and the time you'd like to use the loggia. This will reserve it for you free of charge. A grill, a table with six chairs, a patio heater for winter days, and a soundbar for your music are all provided.

  • How do I pay the final bill?

    The booking price can be paid in advance via bank transfer or PayPal. Tourist tax and additional bookings such as bed linen packages or sauna access are payable in cash at the end of your stay. Unfortunately, we cannot accept credit card payments.

  • Is there a safe?

    Yes, a safe for your valuables is available.


  • Can I charge my electric car?

    Yes, we have a wallbox with a 7-meter charging cable. You can charge your electric car here. The price is €0.40 per kWh and will be billed at the end of your holiday.

    Charging cards cannot be used.

  • What are the cancellation policies?

    • Free cancellation is possible up to 30 days before the arrival date.
    • After that, 30% of the booking price will be charged.
    • For cancellations on the arrival date, the full booking price is due.
  • Is the Wi-Fi free?

    The Wi-Fi is free for our guests.

     

  • Is there a second parking space if we arrive with several cars?

    Yes, there is another parking lot on our premises. However, it is not covered.

  • Where can I get more firewood?

    If you need more firewood, please simply let Hans or Gisela Bahn (who live in the same house) know; they will refill the firewood supply. The charge is €3.00 per bag.

  • Is there a baby cot, highchair or Tripp Trapp chair?

    Yes, a baby cot, highchair, or Tripp Trapp chair can be booked free of charge. You will receive an email seven days before your trip where you can book these additional options free of charge.

  • What are the house rules?

    • Our holiday apartments are non-smoking. Responsible smokers are welcome and are willing to use the covered outdoor areas for smoking.
    • Due to a family pet allergy, we regret that we cannot accept any pets.
    • Our holiday apartments are rented exclusively to guests who wish to spend their vacation with us.
    • We reserve the right to cancel bookings.
    • Parties and similar events are not permitted.

  • Are dogs (pets in general) allowed?

    No, unfortunately, due to allergies, NO pets are allowed.

  • Is smoking allowed in the holiday apartments?

    Smoking is not permitted in the holiday apartments. Ashtrays are provided on the balconies and terraces, and we kindly ask our guests to smoke outdoors.
